IMPACT reaches local teens and young adults through our social media accounts and through collaboration with local youth groups and youth-serving organizations.

Prize Details

No purchase necessary. The selected winners will win a laundry basket, a blanket, a portable power bank, one pack of zero-alcohol beer, one box of sparkling flavoured gin and tonic style beverage, hot chocolate, a multi-pack of herbal tea bags, instant iced coffee, reusable straws, granola bars, Kraft Dinner, Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer, a face mask, an eye mask, lined paper, a calendar whiteboard, a notebook, whiteboard markers, a planner, post it notes, condoms, an oral hygiene kit, lip chap and a tick remover.

Terms and Conditions

All entries are owned by IMPACT and can be used for other promotional activities. The winning submission may be shared publicly on the IMPACT Instagram page, including the “story” section.

Contest participants must:

Be age 13-25
Live in the North Bay Parry Sound Health Unit district.
Not be an employee or direct family member (spouse or child) of an employee of the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit.
Be a current student at Nipissing University.

Contest dates

Entries will be accepted between Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2024 and Friday, Sept. 13, 2024

Contest will close on Friday, Sept. 13, 2024 at 4 p.m.

Winner Notification

The winners will be notified via direct message on Instagram within seven (7) working days after Friday, Sept. 13, 2024. To receive the prize, a winner must respond to the notification and provide all registration information requested in such form as designated by IMPACT no later than two (2) calendar days after the date of transmission of the notification.

It is each participant’s responsibility to regularly check their message inbox account and/or their communication devices within this time period and to respond to the message within the required time frame. If a winner does not respond to the notification message before the two (2) calendar day deadline, a notification message will be sent confirming that they are no longer eligible to claim any prize, and IMPACT reserves the right to select another winner.

IMPACT stands for: Inspiring Meaningful Participation and Action in the Community Together! The acronym was created together with a group of youth volunteers when the IMPACT brand was first started.

IMPACT Collaboration

Do you want to run a social media campaign but don’t have the right platform? We would be happy to assist in creating and running health promotion content that is created collaboratively.
If you have an event that you want promoted, please reach out, and we would be happy to share it on our social media.
Are you interested in highlighting a youth perspective on public health? We welcome collaborators to guide and revise content used for our social media and community programming efforts.
