Where We Work
North Bay |
The City of North Bay anchors the northern part of the district and is home to our Health Unit's main office. North Bay is known as the Gateway to the North and is located about three and a half hours north of Toronto and three and a half hours west of Ottawa. Parry Sound |
A branch office of the Health Unit is located in the south-western part of the district, in the Town of Parry Sound. This area is world renowned as the jewel of the 30,000 Islands of Georgian Bay. Located approximately two hours north of Toronto, Parry Sound is a commercial hub, serving a year-round population of 18,000 and a seasonal population of 60,000 plus. Parry Sound is rich in arts, culture and heritage and also the home town of hockey legend, Bobby Orr. |
