Flu shots are now available for those who are considered high-risk and will be available to the general public starting on November 1. To help accommodate access to the flu shot the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) is offering community walk-in flu shot clinics throughout November. Individuals six months and older are encouraged to get their flu shot.
Magnetawan
- Magnetawan Friendship Club – Sparks St. – Friday, Nov. 11 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Mattawa
- Mattawa Golden Age Club – 464 Poplar St – Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
North Bay
- Health Unit – 345 Oak St. W. – Saturday, Nov. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Parry Sound
- Parry Sound Mall – 70 Joseph St. – Saturday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sundridge
- SSJ Arena – 14 Albert St. N. – Wednesday, Nov. 9 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Those who are not able to attend a clinic or are considered high-risk and would like to book their flu shot now can visit a local pharmacy, make an appointment with their primary health care provider, or call the Health Unit at 1-800-563-2808 to book an appointment.
