Public Service Announcement: COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics with Available Appointments, Walk-ins Welcome

NIPISSING & PARRY SOUND, ON – The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) will be holding COVID-19 vaccine clinics for the remainder of the year throughout the Health Unit district.

Individuals with an appointment are reminded to bring a health card or another form of identification, if possible, as well as any required documentation for those with underlying health conditions eligible for a third dose. Walk-ins will be accepted at clinics for individuals 12 years of age and older, but should be prepared to wait.

Those who are eligible for a third dose, including individuals 50 years of age and older who received their last dose before June 29, 2021 will be able to book and receive their third dose this week at a pharmacy, through their primary health care provider or at a Health Unit COVID-19 vaccine clinic.

Only individuals five to 11 years of age will be able to secure an appointment at a Child and Youth Clinic; however, older siblings or parents will be able to receive an adult dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at these clinics, if they are accompanying a child to their appointment. The pediatric COVID-19 vaccine approved for use in five to 11-year-olds is not yet available at regular clinics. Those unable to book into a Child and Youth Clinic can have their five to 11-year-old vaccinated at a participating pharmacy.

• Sunday, Dec. 19 at Mattawa Golden Age Club (476 Poplar St., Mattawa) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Tuesday, Dec. 21 at Mattawa Golden Age Club from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

North Bay

• Wednesday, Dec. 15 at Northgate Shopping Centre, former Gap location (1500 Fisher St., North Bay), from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Thursday, Dec. 16 at Northgate Shopping Centre, former Gap location, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Friday, Dec. 17 at Northgate Shopping Centre, former Gap location, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Sunday, Dec. 19, Child and Youth Clinic at One Kids Place (400 McKeown Ave., North Bay) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Monday, Dec. 20 at Best Western (700 Lakeshore Dr., North Bay) from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Tuesday, Dec. 21 at Northgate Shopping Centre, former Gap location, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Saturday, Dec. 18, Child and Youth Clinic at Parry Sound Mall (70 Joseph St., Parry Sound) from noon to 2 p.m.
• Saturday, Dec. 18 at Parry Sound Mall from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Thursday, Dec. 23 at Parry Sound Mall from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Sturgeon Falls

• Wednesday, Dec. 15 at Marcel Noël Hall (219 O’Hara St., Sturgeon Falls) from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Monday, Dec. 20 at Marcel Noël Hall from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Wednesday, Dec. 22 at Marcel Noël Hall from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Sundridge

• Friday, Dec. 17 at Sundridge Strong Joly (SSJ) Arena (14 Albert St. N, Sundridge) from noon to 8 p.m.
