NIPISSING & PARRY SOUND, ON – The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) will be holding COVID-19 vaccine clinics this week throughout the Health Unit district. Eligible individuals who wish to receive a first, second or third dose are encouraged to book an appointment to avoid long wait times at the clinics.
Individuals are also encouraged to bring a heath card or another form of identification, if possible, as well as any required documentation for those with underlying health conditions. Newly eligible individuals who received their last dose before May 24, 2021, will be able to book and receive their booster dose this week.
Clinics will offer both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. Clinics this week include:
Mattawa
- Tuesday, Nov. 9 at Mattawa Golden Age Club (476 Poplar St., Mattawa) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
North Bay
- Thursday, Nov. 11 at Best Western Hotel and Conference Centre (700 Lakeshore Dr., North Bay) from noon to 5 p.m.
- Sunday, Nov. 14 at Nipissing University (100 College Dr., North Bay) from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sturgeon Falls
- Tuesday, Nov. 9 at Marcel Noel Hall (219 O’Hara St., Sturgeon Falls) from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Friday, Nov. 12 at Marcel Noel Hall from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Sundridge
- Friday, Nov. 12 at Sundridge Strong Joly (SSJ) Arena (14 Albert St. N, Sundridge) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Parry Sound
- Thursday, Nov. 11 at Parry Sound Mall (70 Joseph St., Parry Sound) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Carling
- Sunday, Nov. 14, walk-in mobile clinic at Carling Township Office parking lot (2 Carling Bay Rd. W, Carling) from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
