NIPISSING & PARRY SOUND, ON – First, second, third and fourth doses will be offered to eligible individuals at COVID-19 vaccine clinics this week. With the increase in bookings, a limited number of walk-in appointments for individuals aged five and older may be available.
As of 8 a.m. on Thursday, July 28, parents and guardians will be able to book an appointment for children six months to under five years of age. Appointments for this age group must be booked, as the Health Unit will not be accepting walk-ins.
Face coverings are required at all clinics. Individuals should bring a health card or another form of identification, if possible.
The following clinics for individuals five and older are taking place this week:
North Bay
- Thursday, July 28 at North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (345 Oak St. W, North Bay) from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Parry Sound
- Wednesday, July 27 at Parry Sound Mall (70 Joseph St., Parry Sound) from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Sundridge
- Monday, July 25 at SSJ Arena (14 Albert St. N) from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The following clinics for children six months to under five years are taking place this week:
North Bay
- Friday, July 29 at North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Additional clinics for this age group will be available throughout the district next week.
Appointments can be booked online at Ontario.ca/BookVaccine, or by calling the Health Unit call centre at 1-844-478-1400. Private appointments can be made through participating pharmacies in the Parry Sound and Nipissing districts.
