NIPISSING & PARRY SOUND, ON – In response to a recent increase in demand, the Health Unit has added COVID vaccine appointment opportunities this week. First, second, third and fourth doses will be offered to eligible individuals. With the increase in bookings, a limited number of walk-in appointment for individuals aged five and older may be available.
Face coverings are required at all clinics. Individuals should bring a health card or another form of identification, if possible.
The following clinics are taking place this week:
North Bay
- Tuesday, July 19 at North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (345 Oak St. W., North Bay) from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Friday, July 22 at Elks Lodge (325 Elks Ln., North Bay) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Parry Sound
- Wednesday, July 20 at the Parry Sound Mall (70 Joseph St., Parry Sound) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sturgeon Falls
- Thursday, July 21 at Marcel Noel Hall (219 O’Hara St., Sturgeon Falls) from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Appointments can be booked online at Ontario.ca/BookVaccine, or by calling the Health Unit call centre at 1-844-478-1400. Private appointments can be made through participating pharmacies in the Parry Sound and Nipissing districts. Children must be at least five years of age to receive a vaccine.
