NIPISSING & PARRY SOUND, ON – COVID-19 vaccine clinics are taking place in Nipissing and Parry Sound districts this week for individuals aged five and older. Walk-ins are welcome. Face coverings are required at all clinics. Individuals should bring a health card or another form of identification, if possible.
Individuals 60 and older, as well as First Nation, Inuit and Metis individuals and their non-Indigenous household members, 18 and older are eligible for their fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine 140 days (five months) after their last dose.
The following clinics are taking place this week:
Mattawa
- Tuesday, April 19 at St. Victor Catholic Elementary School (800 John St., Mattawa) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
North Bay
- Saturday, April 23 at North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (345 Oak St. W, North Bay) from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Parry Sound
- Tuesday, April 19 at North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (70 Joseph St., Parry Sound) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sturgeon Falls
- Tuesday, April 19 at Marcel Noel Hall (219 O’Hara St., Sturgeon Falls) from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Sundridge
- Wednesday, April 20 at SSJ Arena (14 Albert St. N, Sundridge) from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Individuals can book an appointment at Ontario.ca/BookVaccine, or by calling the Health Unit call centre at 1-844-478-1400. Children must be at least five years of age to receive a vaccine.
