NIPISSING & PARRY SOUND, ON – COVID-19 vaccine clinics are taking place in Nipissing and Parry Sound districts this week for individuals of all ages five and older. Walk-ins are welcome. Face coverings are required at all clinics. Individuals should bring a health card or another form of identification, if possible.
Individuals 60 and older and First Nation, Inuit and Metis folk who are 18 and older are now eligible for their fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, 140 days (five months) after receiving their last dose.
The following clinics are taking place this week:
Burk’s Falls
- Wednesday, April 13 at Land of Lakes Public School (92 Ontario St., Burk's Falls) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
North Bay
- Thursday, April 14 at North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (345 Oak St. W, North Bay) from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Parry Sound
- Tuesday, April 12 at North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (70 Joseph St., Parry Sound) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Rosseau
- Tuesday, April 12 at Rosseau Lake College (1967 Bright St., Rosseau) from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Individuals can book an appointment at Ontario.ca/BookVaccine, or by calling the Health Unit call centre at 1-844-478-1400. Children must be at least five years of age to receive a vaccine.
