Public Service Announcement: Boil Water Advisory Issued for the Port Loring East Mills Water Treatment Plant

BOIL WATER ADVISORY ISSUED FOR INDIVIDUALS RECEIVING WATER FROM THE PORT LORING EAST MILLS WATER TREATMENT PLANT

PORT LORING - The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is advising residents and businesses receiving water from the Port Loring East Mills Water Treatment Plan to boil their water before drinking.

A boil water advisory was issued this morning for the Port Loring East Mills Water Treatment Plant as a result of a loss of chlorine residual in the distribution system.

Residents are advised to bring water that they intend to consume to a rolling boil for a full minute.

The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit advises that the Boil Water Advisory remains in effect until further notice.
