PSA: Member of the Rosseau Lake College Community in Parry Sound Tests Positive for COVID-19

PARRY SOUND, ON – The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) has confirmed that a member of the Rosseau Lake College community has tested positive for COVID-19. Individuals in the school community identified as being high-risk contacts have been informed, and are required to self-isolate for 14 days. At this time, the Health Unit has not declared an outbreak. Rosseau Lake College and the Health Unit are working closely to provide guidance to parents, guardians and staff, and to ensure that everyone continues to follow public health measures and school policies.

If you think you may have COVID-19 symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who has it, first self-isolate and then use Ontario's Self-Assessment Tool to see if you need to seek further care. If you need further assistance call your health care provider or the Health Unit at 1-800-563-2808. If you have severe symptoms, such as difficulty breathing, you should call 911 and mention your symptoms.
