NIPISSING & PARRY SOUND, ON – While masking requirements in other high-risk areas, like public transit, have ended, the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit will continue the requirement for clients to wear face coverings when receiving Health Unit clinical services.
When worn properly, masks and face coverings help to prevent the most vulnerable patients from contracting COVID-19. They can also prevent the transmission of COVID-19 to healthcare providers, keeping people healthy and at work.
While each health unit will be responsible for its own entry and welcome procedures, the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is asking the public to respect the measure in place at their facilities.
