NORTH BAY, ON – Throughout the month of March, the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) will focus its vaccine clinics on people six months to 18 years of age, who are due to receive their routine vaccines and those who would like their COVID-19 vaccines.
Infant and Child COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics
The Health Unit will be offering infant and child-focused COVID-19 vaccine clinics for people six months to four years old. These clinics are designed with an emphasis on creating a welcoming environment for parents and their young children.
Limited walk-ins are accepted. Appointments can be booked by calling the Health Unit at 1-844-478-1400.
North Bay
- Wednesday, March 1 at the Health Unit (345 Oak. St. W.) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Monday, March 6 at the Health Unit (345 Oak St. W.) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Parry Sound
- Wednesday, March 1 at the Health Unit (70 Joseph St.) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
For those unable to attend the clinics, private COVID-19 vaccination appointments can also be made at participating pharmacies in the Parry Sound and Nipissing districts.
Routine Kid Vaccine Clinics
In support of National Kids and Vaccines Day, the Health Unit is holding routine vaccine clinics in North Bay and Parry Sound for individuals four to 18 years of age who are eligible for any routine vaccine.
Walk-ins are welcome, however, scheduled appointments are preferred and can be booked by calling 1-800-563-2808, x 5377.
Available vaccines include:
- Diphtheria
- Tetanus
- Pertussis
- MMR
- Varicella
- Meningococcal
- Hepatitis B
- HPV (exclusions apply)
- COVID-19 and
- Influenza.
North Bay
- Wednesday, March 15 at the Health Unit (345 Oak St. W) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Parry Sound
- Thursday, March 16 at the Health Unit (70 Joseph St.) from noon to 6 p.m.
For all vaccination clinics, individuals two and older are reminded to wear a face covering at clinics and, if possible, bring a health card or another form of identification.
