COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics in June
NIPISSING & PARRY SOUND, ON – COVID-19 vaccine clinics will take place in the Nipissing and Parry Sound districts throughout June, allowing individuals to stay up-to-date with their booster doses.
The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is encouraging those who are at higher risk of severe outcomes from COVID-19 to walk in or book an appointment if it has been at least six months since their last dose or COVID-19 infection.
Individuals aged five or older who have not had a COVID-19 booster since September 1, 2022, or a COVID-19 illness in the last six months are also urged to get a booster dose.
Boosters will not be administered at an interval less than six-months.
Individuals are encouraged to book an appointment, as only a limited number of walk-ins can be seen at each clinic.
Upcoming COVID-19 vaccine clinics include:
Mattawa
- Monday, June 26 at Mattawa Golden Age Club (464 Poplar St., Mattawa) from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
North Bay
- Thursday, June 8 at Elks Lodge (325 Elks Ln., North Bay) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Thursday, June 22 at Elks Lodge from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Parry Sound
- Tuesday, June 13 at Parry Sound Mall (70 Joseph St., Parry Sound) from noon to 6 p.m.
- Wednesday, June 28 at Parry Sound Mall from noon to 4 p.m.
Sundridge
- Wednesday, June 14 at SSJ Arena (14 Albert St. N, Sundridge) from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Clinic hours are subject to change to accommodate demand for the COVID-19 vaccine. The schedule will be updated online at myhealthunit.ca/GetVaccinated.
Appointments can be booked at Ontario.ca/BookVaccine, or by calling the provincial vaccine contact centre at 1-833-943-3900. Private appointments can be made through participating pharmacies in the Parry Sound and Nipissing districts.
Individuals are reminded to wear a face covering at clinics and, if possible, bring a health card or another form of identification.
