NORTH BAY (Ontario) – En date du 16 juin, 13 personnes à la prison de North Bay ont obtenu un résultat positif au test de la COVID-19. Comme la COVID-19 s’est davantage propagée, le Bureau de santé a déclaré une éclosion à l’échelle de la prison de North Bay. Aucune infection par la COVID-19 ne s’est traduite par une maladie grave nécessitant une hospitalisation.

NORTH BAY, ON – As of June 16, 13 members of the North Bay Jail community have tested positive for COVID-19. The outbreak has been upgraded to facility wide, due to further spread of COVID-19 within the North Bay Jail. No COVID-19 infections have resulted in serious illness requiring hospitalization.

The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) has declared a respiratory outbreak at the North Bay Jail in Corridor 3 - the causative agent is COVID-19. News Release: Three Ticks Test Positive for Lyme Disease Confirms Health Unit

NIPISSING & PARRY SOUND, ON – The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) confirms that since April 2021, three black-legged ticks found in the district have tested positive for the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi, a bacteria that can cause Lyme disease. Two of the ticks that tested positive were from the North Bay area, and one was from the Parry Sound area.
