NORTH BAY, ON – The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) is requiring all Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs’ (OFSC) trails and trails utilizing Crown Land in the Health Unit district to close effective January 21, 2021 at 12:01 a.m. for the duration of the Stay-at-Home Order and will be reassessed at such time. NORTH BAY, ON - The Ministry of Health has announced that vaccination of residents, staff and essential caregivers of long-term care homes has begun in many parts of the province, with the goal of having the first dose administered in all homes no later than February 15, 2021. Due to a limited supply of vaccines, areas of the province that have been impacted the most by COVID-19 have received the initial doses.

NORTH BAY, ON – The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) is requiring all outdoor public ice rinks, tobogganing hills and skating trails on public property across the district to be closed, effective January 14, 2021. Public Service Announcement: Health Unit Confirms No COVID-19 Risk to the White Woods School Community

NORTH BAY, ON - The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) is confirming that two members of the White Woods school community tested positive for COVID-19 last week while schools were closed and students were online learning. There is no risk to the White Woods school community and the individuals are self-isolating at home.

NORTH BAY, ON - The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) has declared a respiratory outbreak at Eastholme Home for the Aged - the causative agent is COVID-19.
